Volunteering opportunities exist across the South West and there are lots of voluntary sector agencies (volunteer centres and bureaux) that can assist you to find a suitable placement.  Details of local centres are available through this site and via ViSTA (phone for more information). 

One of the greatest challenges facing voluntary and community sector organisations is the recruitment and retention of trustees and committee members. 

There are a huge range of ways to volunteer including taking a role within the governing body (trustees or committees) or offering your time on practical projects and service delivery (community transport, youth mentoring etc).
