HR and Finanacial Management Support

ViSTA is delighted to be able to offer Somerset based Voluntary and Community Sector organisations a range of free support services funded through the Capacity Builders’ Modernisation Programme.  We are offering support in the areas of Human Resource and Financial Management. 

The aims of the project are to give your organisation:

• Improved prospects for securing contracts through Public Sector Commissioning
• Improved Public Accountability and Compliance
• Improved confidence and sustainability

Our highly experienced and qualified advisors will help you to take stock, identify pressure points and areas of risk for development as well as plan and implement effective solutions.

We are offering a range of services including:

• A Finance or HR Health Check and Diagnostic Report.  This may be followed by up to 1.5 days further advice and support on particular issues for attention.
• A wide range of useful templates and guidance notes
• Conferences
• Tailor made seminars/training
• Bulletins and signposting to other sources of help

Health Check Questionnaire and Advisor Appointments

You can do the Health Check questionnaire yourself on-line.  But we urge you to do this with one of our advisors rather than alone as it will be of much greater benefit to your organisation.  An appropriate advisor will visit or phone you to go through the questionnaire with you and have a general discussion, and it should take approximately 2 hours. Accessing the Resources

In order to gain access to our HR and Finance resources you will need to register for an employers account. Please select 'Organisational Support - HR and Finance resources and support' from the list of services, to gain access free of charge.

Returning at a later date couldn't be simpler.  Just login using your username and password in the 'Employers Support and Adverts' section of the ViSTAjobs website .
