Getting Ready for Collaboration

Bassac, the membership body for community organisations, has launched a guide to help support providers manage collaboration in the third sector. The guide is aimed at development workers in the sector who work with groups planning any kind of collaboration, from joint projects to full mergers. It offers a step-by-step approach to helping people involved in supporting collaborative working, providing resources, examples of good practice and a range of case studies. The guide has been produced by the Collaboration Benefits Partnership, funded by Capacitybuilders. It is available online, together with other resources, at www.bassac.org.uk/collaborationbenefits.
