Terms & Conditions

  1. For the purpose of these conditions the expression "user" shall mean all account holders whether they be 'Employer' or 'Candidate'.
  2. The Site and all right, title and interest in and to the Site is the sole property of ViSTAjobs, its licensors and the employers advertising on the Site, it is protected by English copyright and international treaties.  You may not reproduce, modify, display, sell, or distribute the content of ViSTAjobs Site, or use it in any other way for public or commercial purpose. The fore mentioned property rights and restrictions also apply to the html code used to generate ViSTAjobs web pages.
  3. The following exceptions apply to clause 2:  You may download and reproduce Job Details and Job Pack information for the sole purpose of applying for the associated vacancy.
  4. Every effort has been taken to ensure that the content published on ViSTAjobs Site is accurate and consistent with current policy and practice. However, as policy and practice constantly evolve we cannot guarantee that all the content is completely accurate.  ViSTA assumes no liability or responsibility for any errors or omissions in the content of the Site.
  5. Prohibited behavior includes:
    1. Harassing or causing distress or inconvenience to any other user;
    2. Obscene or blasphemous postings;
    3. Promoting illegal activities;
    4. Infringement of copyright, trademark of any other person;
    5. Uploading, posting any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising, junk mail or spam;
    6. Altering or erasing any material posted other than your own account;
    7. Posting any file that may contain a virus or software damaging submission which could in any way be harmful to the ViSTAjobs Site.and other users.
  6.  The employers acknowledge that it is solely their responsibility to ensure the accuracy of their postings and job pack information, ensuring that it complies with English and EC regulations, that the employer owns all relevant copyright and it does not discriminate on the grounds of sex; race; religion; age or disability.  ViSTA shall not be held responsible for the quality, safety or legality of the jobs posted, the truth or accuracy of listings. ViSTA is not responsible for any loss of profit, loss of revenue, damage or liability arising from omission or failure to comply with relevant regulations.
  7. Employers must supply one email address through which candidates may contact your organisation, plus specify contact information for each job posted.
  8. Some facilities require the user to generate a password-activated account. The user is entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of this password. ViSTA are not liable for any losses incurred as a result of an unauthorized person using your password.
  9. In agreeing to these terms and conditions, employers agree to our pricing structure.  ViSTAjobs is free for candidates seeking opportunities.
  10. Following a purchase order from ViSTAjobs, employers will be sent an invoice which will require payment within 7 working days.  Should payment not be received by ViSTA within this period, ViSTA reserve the right to suspend service, disabling all live jobs until payment is made.
  11. Where an employer removes an advertisement prior to the expiry date for that advertising package, an alternative position may be substituted at no extra charge, and this position will be visible up to the original expiry date. Please note no refund is payable to the employer for any unused time.
  12. Employers seeking ViSTA to approve their employer account, with use of ViSTAjobs services consent to services being fully operational within 2 working days of the purchase order being submitted.  Such Employers are within their rights to cancel the purchase order within this 2 working day period.  A full refund will be given were applicable, at ViSTA’s discretion.
  13. ViSTAjobs employer account holders purchasing additional services from the ViSTAjobs Site give their consent to ViSTA, to provide these additional services instantaneously and in doing so employers forfeit their right to cancel the purchase order or seek a refund.
  14. While every effort is made by ViSTA to ensure security, ViSTA assumes no responsibility, and shall not be liable for, any damages to, or viruses that may infect, computer equipment or other property on account of browsing or downloading of any materials, from the ViSTAjobs Site.
  15. In spite of our efforts ViSTA cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to the Site and again assumes no responsibility and shall not be liable for any loss.
  16. ViSTA does not guarantee or warranty the quality or number of replies that may be received by the employer as a result of placing an advertisement on ViSTAjobs.
  17. ViSTA reserves the right to delete, modify or supplement the content of this site at any time if it deems that the said such account holder's actions are in conflict with our terms and conditions or spirit of it, without notification to anyone. 
  18. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law.
